Dingding Hu is a New York-based illustrator and designer. She is a life observer, color lover, and storyteller who makes juice out of the ordinary & the everyday. She specializes in illustrating food, characters, and people's daily lives. She has illustrated a series of street signs all over New York's Chinatown, created a sticker set (Drama Llama) for Google Allo, and designed characters for TED talks. Dingding started her product line Hu is Hungry in 2016. She was awarded a silver medal by the Society of Illustrators for her submission to the 2014 Comic and Cartoon Art exhibit.
Rose Wong is an illustrator based in Brooklyn. Since graduating from the Pratt Institute, she has worked with notable clients such as The New York Times, Fishs Eddy, Penguin Books, Nautilus magazine, The Dodo, and Eater. Her work primarily focuses on combining nature, line work, and geometric forms. She loves to collect plants and draw at the Botanical Gardens.
Diana Zheng started Gwan-im to showcase artists of color at the kitchen table. She thought about studying Visual Arts in college but ended up with a degree in Economics instead. She wrote a cookbook, Jia! The Food of Swatow and the Teochew Diaspora, and has contributed to The Illustrated Wok. Diana lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their neurotic dog.
